Leading Dallas-Fort Worth real estate firm Ebby Halliday is moving its headquarters to a smaller space in Plano’s Legacy Business Park, the company announced Wednesday.
The new office features 17,000 square feet of space, or about half the space the company now occupies in Dallas. The company said the decision to move into the smaller office was deliberate and a response to “today’s modern work environment and needs.”
“This beautiful new office is built for the future and now reflects the current culture and mission of our organization,” said Ebby Halliday Companies president and CEO Chris Kelly in a statement.
The new headquarters at 5560 Tennyson Parkway was designed from the ground up to support Ebby Halliday’s agents and clients, according to a statement from Vice President of Finance and Operations Anthony Jackson.
“We now have all of our central operations under one roof, including brokerage, mortgage, insurance and title services. In addition, we have a beautiful new onsite training center,” Jackson said.
The space also includes glass-enclosed offices, a video and photo studio, an outdoor courtyard and a 30-foot wall mural of Dallas’ “First Lady of Real Estate” Ebby Halliday overlooking downtown Dallas in the 1950s, according to the company.
Ebby Halliday marked 75 years in business earlier in 2020, and employed more than 2,000 agents and employees in 31 offices across North Texas at the start of the year. Ebby Halliday has been owned by billionaire Warren Buffett’s Omaha-based Berkshire Hathaway Corp. since 2018.
